Raising Awareness &
Funding Research
Lori Gray Photography donates all sales proceeds for the month of September to St. Jude in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and pediatric cancer survivor Avery Gray. Although my daughter, Avery, didn't have her lifesaving treatment at St. Jude, we believe the pediatric cancer research and care at St. Jude are second to none.
Why St. Jude?
01
Nations Top Hospital
St. Jude is ranked as the nation's top hospital for children fighting cancer.
04
Pioneered Cancer Research
St. Jude has pioneered more cancer treatments than any other children's hospital in the world. They have helped increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since opening more than 50 years ago.
02
Patients Never Receive A Bill
St. Jude families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything, not treatment, not housing, not even for food.
03
Increased Survival Rates
The survival rate for a Wilm's tumor patient, which is the type of cancer Avery had, in 1960 was around 45%. The survival rate today is over 90%!
